Za'atar

About

Za'atar is blend of spices usually consisting of sumac, ground dried thyme, oregano, marjoram, mixed with toasted sesame seeds, and salt that is used as a seasoning for meats and vegetables. It is also frequently eaten by mixing it with olive oil and either dipping bread into it, or spreading the mixture on flat bread dough before baking.
