Dutchess Grapes
About
The Dutchess Grape was developed in the 19th century in the Hudson River Region of New York on a historic vineyard site now called Benmarl Winery. Today this white American hybrid grape primarily occupies the cool-climate areas of Ontario and the Finger Lakes region of New York State. The Dutchess grape is most often used to make sweet and fruity wines.
