Scorched Rice Tea

Served in Korea. Short grain brown rice is roasted in a pot, water is then added and brought to a boil, then simmered for 10 minutes. After straining the rice out with a sieve, the beverage that remains is pale yellow to golden brown and served unsweetened (though honey may be added).
