Koshihikari

About

Koshihikari rice is a combination of two different rice strains created in the mid 50's.. It is now one of the most highly grown rice varieties in Japan and is said to taste differently from region to region. Close rice strains include Akitakomachi, Hinohikari and Hitomebore.
