Butterfish

A small bony fish with a thin, oval shaped body possessing shiny almost non-existent scales. Butterfish meat has a rich flavor and texture, making this fish good for grilling, frying, baking and broiling.

Butterfish are mainly found in warm temperate waters and are usually sold whole, raw or smoked.
