About This Food

Gropello is a red Italian wine grape planted primarily in the Lombardy region. The juice of this red grape is left to ferment for just a few hours to create whats described in literature as the "one night wine." The beautiful color, complemented by a flowery nose with citrus aromas and the essence of cranberries, reflects the fresh taste and salty tone leading an almond infused finish. Excellent with cold cuts and white meats, appetizers, salads, soft cheese and seafood.
