Bartlett Red Sensation Pear


Red Sensation is a highly-colored Red Bartlett cultivar that appeared in 1940 in Australia. The Red Sensation pear is an attractive, late summer dessert pear, with the same great flavor as a yellow bartlett.
Red Duchess pears are also known as Red Sensation.
The discerning chef knows that red pears add wonderful eye appeal when left unpeeled, and sliced or chopped fresh in salads.
