Kahwah Green Tea
About
Kahwah Green Tea is a traditional recipe which originates from Kashmir. This tea is prepared traditionally in parts of Pakistan and India as well. The recipe calls for 5 saffron strands, 2 green cardamom pods, 2 cups water and 2 teaspoons of loose green tea. Put the water, saffron and cardamom pods into a small sauce pan; bring to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for about 2 minutes. Simmer gently for two more minutes. Strain the tea into small tea cups and serve warm.
