Ocimum basilicum. Annual. Plant produces very flavorful and tender basil leaves. Forms a mound of foliage with white flowers. The tiny leaves are very aromatic, some with a lemon undertone. Used in salads and with tomatoes. Excellent for sauces, salads, and Italian dishes. Small plant is suitable for container plant.
