Since learning of my daughter's allergies to dairy, egg, wheat, peanut/tree nuts, and fish, I have had to learn to cook for my family in a whole new way. I have had to find foods that are safe and delicious, and after almost two years, we have successfully made allergy-friendly eating second nature. We practice techniques that savvy foodies all do: read labels; cook with fresh ingredients; and purchase local and organic foods whenever possible.
