I'm a Southern raised, food-loving dietitian who wants you to see all the flavorful, good-for-you possibilities that are within your reach. I have found that many people I come across think DIEt is a four letter word and commonly misconcieve living a healthy lifestyle means eating (very little) bland and boring food- i.e., plain chicken, empty salads and cutting out our favorite things, like chocolate or ice cream. My goal here is to encourage you to get back in the kitchen and lose the crazy thought that taste and nutrition can’t happily coexist. No food is considered off-limits. I want to encourage you to avoid a diet mentality and learn to appreciate real food.
