I cook most things from scratch. One of my family's favorite is calamari
fritti. My 10 year old grandaughter, Zoe, loves them. I also have a sizeable vegetable garden of tomatoes,pepppers,zuccini and eggplant. Herbs are also tucked in anyplace I can find room. My husband is diabetic so I usually prepare dishes that are low carb. My mom is of Bohemian descent
and taught me how to make dumplings and sauerkraut dishes. She will be 100 in Nov. I have twin sons, Tim and Paul aged 42 who are talented cooks.
Needless to say all family gatherings are celebrated with good food!
