I'm a career cook, a wife, mother and proud grandmother that also loves to cook for her family. I don't need a reason to cook. Waking up to a new day each morning is a good enough reason to crack open eggs, pour olive oil, get some yeast rising and preheat the oven. I wish I wer on the hillsides of Greece where I could go and pick my fresh herbs and greens as you can go over the valleys and hills. But since I live in sunny Florida, I pick my fresh herbs from our garden and get our fresh greens from my favorite produce stand.
