At home mother/navy wife/navy veteran of 12 years. I spend my time with my children, my 8 guinea pigs and browsing through thrift stores and ebay for excellent old cookbooks. I currently live in TX but that's going to change in a few years. My blog is my hobby and I love learning as much as I can about the era from 1930-1979. Our food culture was fascinating! My blog consists of different cookbooks for each post and some of the best and worst food photography. Of course, I have to offer a satirical approach.
