Asian Burgers

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef - (to 1 ΒΌ)
1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
1 garlic cloves - (to 2) minced
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
teaspoon ground ginger
cup cold cooked rice-red, brown, or black

Preparation

In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients; mix well. Shape the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.

Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat then cook the patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until no pink remains.

This recipe yields 4 servings.

Comments: To make this into a meat loaf, double all the ingredients and form into a loaf on a baking sheet. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for about an hour, or until no pink remains.

Don't forget that bottled chopped garlic works just as well as fresh; it's usually available in the supermarket produce department.
