Erin Berard

A student of French language and culture since the second grade, Erin blogs to recreate and share culinary and travel memories of France.  Her writing focuses on simple ways to add a little French flavor to everyday life.  Erin and her Québecois husband Stephen founded French Market Spice, an online marketplace offering signature herb, spice, and salt blends—uniquely inspired by the rich flavor traditions of France.  She has lived, worked, traveled, and cycled extensively in France over the last 15 years. She has also lived abroad in both Denmark and Finland.  In addition to being an online marketing consultant and freelance writer, Erin designs and leads cycling trips in France for Destination Cycling. After living in Paris and buying a tiny, ancient stone house in Calvados (Normandy), Erin and Stephen returned recently to Seattle.
