Thirsty Thursdays: Hot Buttered Rum Cider

December 13, 2012

Warm yourself up this winter with a hot buttered rum cider.  Nothing is better then a warm cocktail on a frosty night, this recipe combines rum with apple cider, brown sugar, butter and spices.  Spiced rum also works well in this cocktail.  Also, you can substitute half of the brown sugar for butterscotch schnapps depending on how strong you like your drinks.  Top your hot buttered rum cider with a dollop of whipped cream.
