my daught is very picky about her green apples and won't eat any that have little white spots on the skin. If I can tell her what they are, she just might eat them.
it's just nature. Nothing is perfect. Give her the opportunity to give them a unique name- but deem them edible. Call them freckles if you will. It' s no big deal.
