Not necessarily. Feta is goat cheese. But it can also be chevre or a variety of differenet goat cheeses. Some are mild, some are sharp

Feta cheese is a Greek cheese traditionally made of a mixture of sheep and goat's milk. Many cheeses outside of that area are made of cow's milk.
There are many different types of goat's milk cheeses.

no, they are very different in flavour and texture. Feta cheese is salty and hard crumbly in texture, whereas goat cheese is creamy and a lot milder in flavour and not salty at all. Also Feta cheese is not always made from goat cheese, depends on the variety. But both are equally delicious crumbled over a green salad!

Fetta can be made from any milk source. The thing that makes it fetta is that it is made from yoghurt
