pounds ground turkey breast |

Granny Smith apple, grated with peel on |
¾ |
tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and crushed |

small red onion, diced |
½ |
tablespoon soy sauce |

Kosher salt |

fresh ground black pepper |
Step 1 |
Place the ground turkey in a large bowl. |

Add the grated apple and diced onion. |
Step 4 |
Add the soy sauce and a couple pinches of salt and fresh ground pepper. |
Step 5 |
Mix well with your hands, then form into patties. |
Step 6 |
Grill a few minutes on each side or until juices no longer run red. |
Step 7 |
Patties should feel slightly firm, but not hard. |

Since turkey easily dries out when grilled adding apple and onion helps seal in the juices, while adding a wonderful flavor.
