[edit] Ingredients

eggs

3

tablespoons yogurt

1

teaspoon baking soda

½

cup butter

1

cup sugar

2

teaspoons vanilla

1 ½

cups flour (sifted)

½

teaspoon ginger

4

tablespoons Grand Marnier

2

cups mashed bananas

½

cup golden raisins

½

cup chopped walnuts

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees:

Crack the eggs into a small cup and beat with a fork until fluffy.

Step 3

Mix the yogurt and baking soda in a separate bowl and set aside.

Step 4

Combine the butter, sugar and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.

Step 5

Add the flour, eggs, and yogurt mixture.

Step 6

Fold in the remaining ingredients.

Step 7

Pour into a greased loaf pan.

Step 8

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, then reduce the heat to 250 degrees and bake for an additional 35 minutes, or until the bread is firm in the middle.

Step 9

Cool on a wire rack.

Step 10

Wrap in aluminum foil or plastic wrap and keep refrigerated to prevent spoilage.
