Hard Dog Biscuits

Ingredients
3 1/2 cups flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup cornmeal
2 cups cracked wheat
1 cup rye flour
4 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup dry milk
1 egg (optional)
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 pt. chicken stock
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Add chicken stock and combine with dry ingredients. Knead for 3 minutes, working into a stiff dough. Roll dough into 1/4 inch sheet and cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Turn oven off and leave in oven overnight. In the morning, the biscuits will be hard. Your dog will love them.
