Ingredients

5 pounds brisket
1 tablespoon flour
2 teaspoons hickory smoke
Generous sprinkling fresh ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
2 tablespoons bottled barbecue sauce

Preparation

Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Shake flour in empty brown-in-bag and place bag in pan. Trim fat from meat.

Rub meat with smoke, pepper and celery seed.

Place meat in bag (combine chili sauce and barbecue sauce and spoon over meat). Follow brown-in-bag cooking instructions.

Cook 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until tender.
