large onion, chopped |

garlic clove, crushed |
2 |
green bell peppers, diced |
3 |
celery stalks, sliced |
2 |
tablespoons flour |
1 |
can tomatoes |
1 |
can tomato paste |
1 |
pinch basil |
1 |
pinch rosemary |

cups cooked beans of your choice |
½ |
cup breadcrumbs |

Step 1 |
Saute onions and garlic lightly in oil. Add pepper and celery. Fry for several minutes til tender. Stir in the flour & add tomatoes. Add tomato paste & herbs and beans. Mix in breadcrumbs. Add a little water if too dry. Spoon into oiled casserole and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top. Bake for 30 minutes at 350F. |
