Butterscotchy Almond Bars

Combine flour and baking powder; set aside.

Melt butter in large saucepan. Remove from heat; blend in sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture. Spread batter in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch (3.5 L) cake pan.

Bake in 350ºF (180ºC) oven 20 minutes. Spread Nutty Topping evenly over surface. Bake 15 minutes longer.

Cool. Melt chocolate; drizzle over pan. Cut into bars.

Melt butter in small saucepan. Add and mix in sugar, corn syrup, water and salt.

Bring mixture to boil; boil 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in sliced almonds.
