Smoked Sausage With Cabbage, Sweet Potatoes & Apples

Ingredients
1 - 1 ½ lbs. Hillshire smoked sausage, cut into ½" slices
1 (13 ¼ oz.) can chicken broth
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon mustard seeds (opt.)
1 pound sweet potatoes, peeled
cut into ½" chunks
2/3 cup onion, chopped
1 lg. Golden Delicious or other firm apple, quartered, cored
cut into ½" pieces
Preparation

Stir chicken broth and mustard in deep 12" skillet. Add mustard seeds and bring to boil. Add sweet potatoes and onion. Reduce heat to medium. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Add sausage and cabbage. Cover and cook 15 minutes longer, stirring once or twice. Stir in apples. Cover and simmer additional 3 minutes.
