Black Pepper Chicken and Broccoli

Ingredients

1/2 pound chicken breast, sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon of sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, very finely minced
2 tablespoons oyster sauce

Preparation

Boil a giant pot of water to blanch the broccoli.

Cut the broccoli crowns into florets.

Blanch broccoli for 2-3 minutes until slightly cooked yet crisp.

Drain the broccoli.

While the broccoli blanches, heat up a pan on high heat with the oil. Throw in the chicken, garlic and pepper.

Saute. When the meat is no longer pink, add the broccoli.

Add the oyster sauce and the rice wine.

Saute until the food is well mixed and the sauce is reduced to your satisfaction.

I often eat this over rice, but you can enjoy with other starch too.
