Pain Aux Noisettes (Hazelnut Bread Pudding)

Ingredients

3 tablespoons Nutella/Choc Hazelnut spread (+ some to spread)
4 squares Dark Chocolate
3 slices of Bread
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 1/4 cups Milk
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla

Pread one side of each slice of bread with Nutella and slice into 2cm x 1cm pieces.

Combine Milk, Chocolate and 3 Tbsp Nutella in a saucepan over moderate heat.

In a bowl whisk the egg with the sugar, add the hot mixture in a stream, whisking, and stir in the hazelnuts, vanilla, cinnamon and the bread.

Transfer to loaf pan and let stand for 5 minutes.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until crisp on top.

Serve warm with ice-cream.
