Thai Style Tofu With Asparagus and Green Beans

Ingredients

1 package of firm tofu, cut into cubes
2 shallots, sliced
1 clove of garlic, sliced
1 teaspoon chilli powder
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy (kicap manis)
3 tablespoons sunflower oil
1 teaspoon fish sauce
1/4 cup of water

Preparation

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a work.

Fry the tofu cubes until brown on all sides.Remove to a plate.

Add the remaining oil, fry the shallots,garlic and kaffir lime leaves.

Add the chilli powder and tomatoes to the shallots and mix well.

Pour in the water to loosen up the chilli powder.

Cook for 2 minutes

Toss in the green beans and asparagus.

Mmix in the ketchup, sweet chilli sauce, oyster sauce and dark soy.

Stir fry the vegetables for 2 minutes

Add the tofu into the wok

Season with fish sauce, salt, sugar and ground white pepper

Cook for 1 final minute
