tea spn each mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal |

Step 1 |
Heat oil in a fry pan on a medium flame and add mustard, cumin seeds, urad dal. |
Step 2 |
When the cumin and mustard start crackling, add curry leaves and chillies and fry for about about 1/2 a minute. |

Now, lower the flame slightly and add bread pieces and mix well. |

For this particular recipe, use day old stale bread. Fresh bread does not usually hold its shape when added the wok. Cut the bread into pieces like the recipe mentions and sprinkle very little water and set aside while the onions fry up.
