Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 cup chopped carrots
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup frozen green peas
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/4 cups hot water
2 cups cut-up turkey or chicken
1 cup chopped celery

Preparation

Cook celery, carrots and peas in water (reserve 1 1/4 cups hot water from vegetables) until tender.

Melt butter, add flour to make a paste, then add milk and vegetable water.

Add cooked vegetables and chicken, heat until hot. Serve over biscuits.
