The Surrey Hotel Cocktail Program is Room Service for Mixology

March 14, 2012

Today's travelers are accustomed to amenities like room service from a hotel's restaurant, but the Surrey cocktail program cranks things up a few notches. It's essentially room service for mixology: upon request, a Surrey mixologist brings up ingredients for five or six upscale cocktails, performs a quick training session, mixes the first round, and lets you enjoy the fruits of his labor.

Hotel guests can select from 11 cocktails, each of which contains either vodka, gin, tequila, bourbon or rum. A Rose Marie, for example, comes with Bombay Sapphire, simple syrup, grapefruit juice and a rosemary sprig.
