Colorful Spring Ruffle Cake from Bubbles and Sweet

March 19, 2012

This spring ruffle cake from Bubbles and Sweet is a colorful dessert to welcome spring.  Five pastel colored cakes are separated by a layer of rich vanilla buttercream and the outside ruffles are made from colored fondant.  The website provides an instructional tutorial on how to recreate this cake at home.  This cake is an advanced baking project so don't get discouraged if it doesn't come out perfect the first time.  This pastel ruffle cake will definitely be a showstopper.
