Martha Stewart is one domestic Goddess that sure knows a lot about food, and when she talks people tend to listen. Here are four memorable quotes about food from Stewart herself, who talks about her travels, being in prison and some of her diet habits.

On Missing Cappuccino in Prison

"This is a funny story. We'd asked the guards every day for cappuccino. You know, just as a joke," Stewart said of her stint in prison in 2004. "And they'd come in with their cups of coffee and stuff. And so I get here and I have a spot for a cappuccino machine, and it didn't work. So I don't have any cappuccino ... I didn't miss the cappuccino, I missed the idea of cappuccino."

On Israeli Food

"Olive oil is very fine here in Israel, and so much is used in the preparation of foods," Stewart said about a trip to Israel in 2011. "I love za'atar, which is a combination of sumac, hyssop, sesame, salt and pepper."

On New PBS Show, Martha Stewart's Cooking School

Martha Stewart premiered a new show on PBS in October.
"PBS is the perfect home for this series. We'll show viewers how to prepare classic dishes as well as how to use proper techniques. This new series combines so many of my passions: teaching and encouraging others. We will break down classic recipes for home cooks and inspire them to add their unique twist. I'm excited to get into the kitchen and connect with audiences across the nation."

On Fast Food

Stewart revealed earlier this year that she is not a fan of fast food.
"Never ate fast food. I proudly can tell you that I've eaten one Burger King and I think maybe two McDonald's... and today I ate an In-N-Out burger. It was okay. You know, it's not my favorite food. I would much rather have a salad or sushi or something like that."
