Vietnamese Mint is common in the Persicaria genus. Its easy to grow and can be grown in pots. The flavour gives hot peppery taste. It grows faster when it receives lots of water.

I see that it is for sale as a plant to grow at richters.com if you don't want seeds.
Below is the url for the purchase of Vietnamese Mint. It may be what you want.

I don't know if you have friends who live near Los Angelos but many people say that they have purchased potted kinh gioi plants at this Vietnamese market
ABC Supermarket
8970 Bolsa Ave.
Westminster, Ca 92683

Any nursery sells seed starter kits for $5-$6 that I have used to grow just about everything from seed with ease. That would be the best bet is to start it yourself and you will have many plants to grow always. Especially since it seems that seeds are easy to find for sale and plants are almost non existent.
