Question: How Many People Should You Plan For If They Rsvp On Facebook?

I am giving my daughter a high grad party. She posted it on facebook and 100 people have responded that they will be coming. How many do you think I should plan for? Also the guests will be going from party to party. I plan on having shredded pork sandwiches with miscellaneous salads, etc. How much shredded pork do you think I should have on hand?

HIgh schoolers? Plan on each one bringing a guest. I would say if 100 RSVP'd you'll have 150-200. If you're using standard size rolls plan on using 1/4 to 1/3 cup pork per sandwich. Depending where you fall in the lineup will determine how much you actually need. You can freeze leftovers, so it would be better to have more than you need, than less.
