Question: How Many Lbs Ribs To Feed 150

for a wedding reception dinner on labor day weekend; baby back ribs, but will have a lot of other food to compliment it.

You didn't say what kind of ribs and whether the are bone in or boneless?
I would figure on 1/2 lb -3/4 lb per person. Make sure you have extra for the big eaters in the crowd.

Are you talking prime ribs, beef ribs, baby back ribs or what? If you are talking baby back or spare ribs I would buy 150-175 lbs for 150 people. Ribs shrink when cooked and the bones are half the weight. Most people don't enjoy eating the bones.

I am catering a banquet for 100 to 150 people. It's one plate per person. I need to know how much of each menu item I need in order to have the correct amount of food. Menu will be dark meat chicken (legs, and thighs), pork riblets, beef tips(made with stew beef meat), potato sala, cabbage, collards, rice and gravy, mac and cheese. Please help !
