Tool: Cast Iron Saucepan

About

A type of cast iron pot with vertical sides about the same height as their diameter, used for simmering or boiling. Saucepans generally have one long handle, larger version usually handles on either side. Cast iron is used for cookware because it is non-toxic and has excellent heat retention and diffusion properties. It can be either bare, which requires "seasoning," or enameled.
