Question: Can you use a food dehydrator to "dry" tomatoes, especially cherry/grape ones?

Yes- they'll turn out great. The cherry & grape tomatoes will have a nice flavor, but the romas are my favorite to dehydrate because once they dry, the size is a little more uniform and useable.

look up your dehydrator manual online- it should be there.
If there is a chance I can eat figs fresh- they would NEVER make it to dried!
They should turn out fine though!

Thanks, my Daddy has a fig tree and I can only eat so many :) Think I will make some preserves this year. Wish I could share the fresh ones, they're really good this year.
