Apples stored in the refrigerator stay fresh for up to a month. Berries only last 2-4 days in the refrigerator so it's best to freeze them when trying to store them for extended periods of time. Cherries store 2-3 days in the refrigerator. Grapefruit lasts a week at room temperature or two in the refrigerator. Grapes will store 3-5 days in the refrigerator. Lemons and limes will last 2 weeks in the refrigerator or several days at room temperature. Oranges store for up to two weeks in the refrigerator or a week at room temperature. Uncut melons keep for a week in the refrigerator or a few days at room temperature. For any fruit watch for smell change, discoloration, or softening of the skin as signs of decay.
