Actually that just makes coconut milk.
After straining you take the coconut milk and refrigerate over night and the coconut cream can be removed from the top of this liquid.

You can make cream of coconut by combining 1 part shredded coconut with 1 part water, simmering until frothy, and then straining through a cheesecloth.
