It also depends on whether you place the shinny side on the outside or the inside.
If the shinny side is on the inside and the dull side is on the outside you should have a quicker cooking time as the colour will absorb the heat. Where as the shinning side being on the outside will reflect the heat and will definately lengthen cooking time.

Aluminum foil can cook food more quickly. If you wrap something in the foil, then the steam will be retained inside, which will give you a quicker cooked and moist food. Also, some, not a lot of heat is retained in the metal foil, which can speed up cooking a bit.
