Ingredients

2 cups half and half

Pour half and half into a large pot. Heat over medium to high flame until mixture starts to thicken. Keep stirring constantly with a non-stick spoon. When the liquid becomes denser, reduce heat to low and continue stirring constantly.

Remove from heat when the mixture becomes semi-solid, which will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Typically, the amount of mawa produced will be one-fourth the quantity of initial liquid.
