tablespoons Vegetable Oil |

Onion, thinly sliced |

clove Garlic, minced |

medium head Red Cabbage, shredded |

medium Granny Smith Apples, quartered, cored, and thinly sliced |

tablespoons White Wine Vinegar |
3 |
tablespoons Honey |
2 |
tablespoons fresh Dill weed, chopped |

Salt and Black Pepper to taste |

Step 1 |
Warm the vegetable oil in a large skillet over moderate heat. Add the onion slices and saute until soft, about 4 minutes. Add the minced garlic, then saute the mixture for about another minute more. |

Stir in the shredded red cabbage; cover and saute about 5 minutes, or until cabbage is wilted. Add the apples, vinegar, honey, and dill weed. Stir well and continue to cook until apples are tender, about 8 to 12 minutes. Season with a bit of salt and pepper to taste, before serving warm. |
