Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds Ground beef (or ½ lb beef, ½ lb 1 lrg Grated carrot
1 Onion, chopped finely
1 Rib celery, chopped finely
3/4 cup Rolled oats
1/2 cup Milk powder
1 teaspoon Thyme
1/2 teaspoon Each salt, pepper, sage,
1 pch Allspice
2 cups Beef broth
2 tablespoons Flour

Preparation

Combine meat, vegetables, rolled oats, milk powder and spices and mix well.

Add 1/2 c broth, mix again, place into 8x3 inch loaf pan. Bake 350F, 30 min. Pour another 1/2 c broth over meatloaf, bake in 350F a further 45 min.

Make gravy with the flour, 1 c reserved broth, and the pan drippings from the meatloaf. This is delicious - moist and flavorful!
