Broccoli - Rice Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

1 med. onion, chopped
1 (3 lb.) chicken, stewed and cut up
1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli or chopped spinach, co
1 cup quick cooking rice, uncooked
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/4 cup water
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup water

Preparation

Saute onion in butter until transparent. Add chicken, broccoli or spinach, rice, soup, water, milk, and cheese. Mix well. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole and bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Can be frozen.
