Butter
, melted

, lightly beaten
1/2 cup
Milk
1/8 teaspoon
Salt
1/8 teaspoon
Nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon
Vanilla extract
Preparation
1
Combine all ingredients, except the
bread.
If desired,
trim
crust from
bread.
Dip
slices
into the mixture,
coating
well on both sides, but not drenching. Cook the French toast in a well-oiled, hot waffle iron until
crisp
.
