Yield: 9 waffles, 15 pancakes.

edit Ingredients

½

cup Egg Beaters 99% egg substitute

2

cups lowfat buttermilk (½ %)

1

cup oatmeal quick cooking

1

tablespoon molasses

1

tablespoon canola oil

1

cup whole wheat flour

½

teaspoon salt

1

teaspoon baking soda

1

teaspoon baking powder

edit Preparation

Step 1

Combine egg substitute, buttermilk, oatmeal, molasses & oil.

Step 2

Stir in combined dry ingredients.

Step 3

Waffles: Bake according to waffle maker's directions.

Step 4

Pancakes: Drop batter by 1/4 cups onto a hot, greased griddle.

Step 5

Turn when bubbles begin to form on top of pancake.

edit About Oatmeal Waffles/pancakes

My waffle iron uses 1/2 cup batter per waffle so I get about 9 waffles. You can also make pancakes with the recipe. [Lavon]
