Banana Whip Cream Cake

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 1/8 cups sugar
2 lg. eggs
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 mashed bananas
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 lg. bunch bananas, sliced
2 pts, heavy cream, beat ΒΌ c. sugar into

Preparation

Grease and flour 2 (8 inch) cake pans. Set oven at 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Combine (milk and lemon juice), then in second bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, and soda. Alternately add to butter, sugar, and eggs. Then stir in 2 mashed bananas and vanilla. Put into cake pans and bake 25 minutes. Cool thoroughly. Split layers in half. Take 1st layer, ice with whip cream. Top with bananas. Cover with whip
