Strawberry Sour Cream Cake

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups ~sugar
2 teaspoons ~vanilla
12 ~about large frozen strawberries, put through a food processor, and pulverised
2 cups ~flour
1/2 teaspoon ~baking soda
1 teaspoon ~salt
1 1/2 teaspoons ~baking powder

Preparation

In a stand mixer, cream butter and sugar together. Add each egg one at a time. Add vanilla, sour cream, and strawberries.

Sift together dry ingredients and slowly add to the wet.

Butter and parchment paper 2- 9 inch round cake pans

Pour batter into pans, 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or till done by sticking a toothpick into them and coming out clean.

Set on a cooling rack and cool all the way before icing.

I used some red coloring and chocolate to pipe out the hearts.

I used a regular cream cheese icing on the cake.
